| How it began |  Polaris Dive and Beach Resort was originally opened in June 1998 under German management. Since then it is managed carefully by Franz Baumann and his wife Maria. They are assisted by an additional divemaster and the always helpful native boatmen, familiar with the place. In accord with nature today' s Polaris Dive and Beach Resort was gradually developed.
Since 2008 Polaris Dive Center opened in collaboration with Talima Beach Villas and Dive Resort a new dive center on Olango Island; only 30-45 minutes away from the Mactan International Airport. | | | | Environmentally friendly, sustainable development to protect the nature | | We carry on a sustainable development in accord with nature and the native inhabitants of the island. Overall aim is the protection and preservation of the unique beauty of Cabilao- and Olango Island and its environment.
